The conspiracy is visible!

When the farmers' agitation showed no signs of coming to a logical conclusion through discussions with the central government, it was slowly getting clear that there was a hidden agenda. When they decided to take a tractor rally through the national capital at the same time as the traditional Republic Day parade was taking place, the underlying mischief was palpable but the common man never thought about the devious minds that were behind this sordid tale.

Their plot, however, failed due to the following reasons :-

     (a) The utmost restraint shown by the Delhi Police. Despite great provocation - over 300 of them
were injured by the 'so-called-farmers' on the rampage - the police did a marvellous job.

     (b) Anti-nationals had infiltrated the farmers' agitation and the actual farmers were no longer under
control. They were being egged on by the Khalistan lobby, the Canadian grain lobby along with
a few misguided parliamentarians of theirs. But what were they doing here when they were
supposed to be looking after the Canadians who'd elected them? They care a damn about them.

     (c) There were many from within the country who were playing a covert role. Much of the
opposition along with the communist farmers' unions and the perpetual problem creators were
orchestrating a hate campaign, augmenting it with a misinformation campaign on the social
          media.

     (d) The way miscreants, like Deep Sidhu, had the audacity to hoist the Sikh flags atop the Red
Fort after hauling down the tricolour and disgracing it and quite a few others who drove their
tractors at prohibitive speeds to cause grievous injuries to the people.

The conspiracy was clearly visible with the subsequent actions :-

      (a) A scheming Rakesh Tikait lamenting as to why police had not taken action at those people
who fomented mischief. Many of these guys wanted police to take violent action so that they
had a few lifeless bodies to display to the media and the world, making a case to continue with
their agitation, garnering 'international support' against a 'tyrannical regime'! Show Modi in
           poor light.

      (b) Sitaram Yechury displayed his devious attitude by attributing 'police inaction' against the
trouble makers. He should have just taken charge of his unions and party loyalists told them
to behave and go back to their homes!

And today, comes quite a few more international tweets from celebrities like Rihana, Greta Thumberg
and likewise saying that they support the farmers' agitation. Now, that's a big laugh. Do they know the
real issues? But when you have guys like Rajdeep Sardesai, Barkha Dutt and Yogendra Yadav spreading blatant lies and falsehoods, those people will parrot the script offered to them on a platter. Wonder how much they are getting paid for such motivated shows? A fortune, perhaps!

My take.

I, once again, appeal to those wasting their energies on wrong things, "Please don't do things that show the country in bad light. If you have political differences, fight it out like men in the next hustings and win on your own steam. Do tell the people as to what your vision for the country is!"

Tailpiece.

Got up at our usual time, the chores and was ready by a quarter to 10. Suma was on leave as her husband was getting back to work at Madras.

Ordered for the monthly provisions and the fruits for the week. A quiet day otherwise.
