Got up at 4, thanks to Lekha's cellphone alarm. We went through our chores and eventually took of by a half past 6. Lekha's sister, Letha, is accompanying us.
Breakfast was at the Kalpakavadi Inn, where the new manager, Anbu Prabhu, had come up to have a long chat. It was the 'girl-from-Ambalapuzha' who'd served us a lovely breakfast of appams and egg curry.
Reached Mallan's clinic by 10 but had to wait out as the toothy was at a surgery.
Thankfully, after an x-ray, it was confirmed that it was a small fix up job that was required. The doc had also recommended a CT scan at the lab situated at the eastern side of the Medical Trust Hospital. After finishing that, we had lunch at the Aryaa's at Panampilly Nagar. We befriended Krishna and met Suzy after what seemed to be a long time.
Resumed our return trip. Had tea and snack at the Saravana Bhavan around a quarter to 5.
Reached The Quarterdeck by a trifle past 7.
Opened up the house and went through our chores. A late night!
Tailpiece.
A journey that wasn't affected by the rain.
