The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) on Thursday, handed over Miram Taron to the Indian Army, nine days after the 17-year-old from Arunachal Pradesh was reported missig from the fuzzy India-China border.
The official report said that, "Due procedures are being followed including the medical examination. The Army's efforts were lauded for pursuing the case with the PLA and securing the boy's return.
The handing over had taken place at Wacha-Damai in Kibithu of Arunachal's Anjaw district.
My take
Was it a game by China? Or is it trying to divert our attention from something sinister that they are up to?
