Today being the 75th Independence day, it would be appropriate to know something about our national flag. So, I shall talk about the principles, the 24 spokes of the Ashok Chakra represent.

Got up at 6, the chores and was ready by 10. Watched the PM's Independence Speech from the ramparts of the Red Fort which was awe inspiring as usual.

Today, ten teams had participated in the National Anthem Singing competition at the courtyard of the PN Panicker Foundation. The Carmel Girls' High School team were the winners.

Lekha had prepared Coconut rice and butter paneer curry for lunch which was really nice.
