Guruvayur to Kochi.

The day had begun at 3 AM for us thanks to Lekha’s cellphone alarm. Went through our chores and we were ready by a half past 5 when Vishal, our sa’arthi for the day had reached us on the dot. Had set off for Kochi without much ado.

Breakfast of idlis, vada, chutney and sambar was had at the Aaryaa's at Edappalli around a quarter past 8. Reached Mallan’s clinic by a quarter past 9. The doctor was waiting for Lekha to change her upper dental furniture and he took about an hour to set it in position.

After a quick cup of coffee, we made a dash to my sister, Rema’s place at Thrippunithura where our luggage was offloaded from the car and then the three of us had set off for the beauty parlour at the Manorama junction.

While Lekha and Rema were at the parlour, I’d made a dash to Dr Satish Bhat’s clinic to fetch one of my medicines that I was falling short of. And finally, we all gathered at the Aarya’s at Panampilli Nagar, for lunch. Earlier, had also bought Freshchlor for Lekha for her gargles. 

After despatching Vishal back to Guruvayur, we hopped on to the Metro train to Pettah. On reaching Rema’s place, the two of us hit the sack while my sister had gone for the practice for their forthcoming entertainment program on the 25th.

After tea, we’d watched the Suresh Gopi starrer ‘Paappan’ which was quite okay. After a light dinner of crisp, hot dosas we were ready to leave for the airport and Achu had booked us an Uber cab. We left for the airport by about a half past 10 and were the first to arrive from our group. It was great meeting all of them. 

The Santa Monica guy gave us our documents and we went through the checking in formalities and immigration procedures, we were at the departure lounge awaiting our flight, early in the morning at 0420 hrs.
