On the fall of democracy.

* Women will want to be like men and democracy will give it to them.

* Foreigners will want the rights of the natives and democracy will give it to them.

* Thieves and fraudsters will want important government functions and democracy will give it to them.

And at that time, when thieves and fraudsters finally and democratically take authority; because criminals and evil doers want power, there will be worse dictatorship than in the time of any monarchy or oligarchy".

Got up at 4, the chores and we kicked off at 10' to 7.

Reached Edappalli at a half past 9, when disaster struck. A KSRTC bus brushed close to our Chevy and broke the rear view mirror. The conductor helped me to file an FIR at the Elamakkara Police Station.

Sent Lekha to Fleury to get her requirement done. Had lunch at the Aryaa's at Panampilli Nagar. Our visit to the canteen was a no show as it was open for a half day, being a Tuesday.

Settled down at 4, Naval Officers' Institute booked by Captain Jason Paul.

It was comfortable - Pratik and Inderjit looked after us. The trudge up to the third floor was tough for Lekha.
