Former PM Dr Manmohan Singh passed into the mist of time last night, at the AIIMS, New Delhi.
Whatever said and done, as Prime Minister, he was witness to all the wrong things done by his party - the Congress Party. So, helplessly watching all those things happen, he's very much a party to it.
Being a Sikh and a clean man, why didn't he react even once and put his foot down? Or did he have any skeleton in his cupboard too?
No doubt that he was a great Finance Minister who opened up the country's economy - under the stewardship of Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao - bringing about far reaching changes and the nuclear deal he'd pushed through with the then US President George W Bush.
Shall always remember 04 Jan 2014, when he inaugurated PN Panicker Foundation's Total e-literacy program at the Kanakakkunnu Palace, Thiruvananthapuram along with Governor Nikhil Kumar, CM Oommen Chandy and other distinguished guests.

Got up at 5, the chores and was ready by 10.
Went to the DDRC Lab, Chavakad to get Lekha's biopsy done but to no avail. Immediately rang up Dr (Mrs) Sodhi. She made me meet the dentist, Sreerag, within our surroundings who referred her to the ENT Specialist Varun at Kent Clinic who ruled out the requirement of a biopsy. Phew!
A quiet evening thereafter.
