 Am touching upon a few news bytes from across the world for an analysis. Without much ado, let me get on with it.

(a) Aamir Khan in Turkey.

The film actor met the Turkish dictator with a lot of publicity accompanied with pomp and show. A President giving great importance to an actor is unheard of. Is there an agenda that's missing through the naked eyes. The following factors are discernible :-

* Not very long ago, he'd made a political statement by claiming that his wife is afraid to stay in India after Narendra Modi had become PM. * He has not made any movie showing the social evils of Islamic society. He has found nothing wrong with burqa or triple talaq or polygamy or halala or at least on how teenage girls are sold to old Arabs in mutha (temporary) marriages. * The Turkish President, along with Mohammed Mahathir, the former PM of Malaysia and PM Imran Khan of Pakistan had criticised the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Recep Thayyip Erdogan, the Turkish President has been nursing grandiose dreams of being the leader of the world's Muslim countries.

By this act of Aamir Khan's, is he sending his followers a message that Turkey is the new boss and we need to follow it? Or has he beaten his competitors in reaching out to the Caliphate?

But my question is as to how has he been able to do this? Had he taken the government's clearance?

(b) CBI to Investigate.

Finally, after 66 days of relentless investigation by his team, Arnab Goswami and his Republican TV team has been able to establish that the Bombay Police had botched up the investigation regarding Sushant Singh Rajput's end (It's yet to file an FIR in the case!), his end was brought about by a murder-most-foul and not suicide as was being projected to save the people connected to it and therefore, a CBI investigation was the logical requirement to get at the truth.

Today, around 1100 hrs, the Supreme Court had just ordered that. The CBI shall investigate the case. The Maharashtra government, which has all along being saying that the CBI shall not be brought in, post-judgement has said that it will carry out a parallel investigation to save its face. Udhav Thackeray, your days, as chief minister, are numbered. It's better you make an honourable exit......oh you will cling on to the seat of power because you've to retrieve your son from the mess that he has got himself in!

That guy, Param Bir Singh, the Commissioner of Police who was in charge of the investigation, must quickly put in his papers and find convincing answers to tell his children as to why he made an ass of himself?

(c) She Won't Make a Difference.

To my mind, many Indians are unnecessarily getting thrilled about Kamala Harris who has got the VP ticket of the Democratic Party for the forthcoming US Presidential Election in Nov 2020. Though her Jamaican father, had left the family while she was quite young and it was her Indian mother, who'd brought her up, towards the run up towards getting the nomination she'd projected herself as an African American.

Let's take a hypothetical situation that her party ultimately wins the elections, it would be foolhardy to think her to be spearheading a pro-Indian stand by her government. If some of us do, it will be at our own peril! It's because the immigrant communities try to be more American-like than the Americans themselves!!
