Fasting
Fasting helps bring harmony inside the body, detoxify and balance the dishes.
As we know from June, the sun begins its downward journey, reducing the daylight hours in the northern hemisphere. Besides, monsoon leads to the cooling of the earth. The cooling of the earth leads to the slowing of the digestive system. This leads to an increase in 'kapha' and 'vata' dosha. Fasting in a way helps to build the reproductive system of women thereby increasing their childbearing capacity.
Fasting during the day helps in establishing self-control and focus. It is considered to be the perfect way of self-restraint and realization also. Fasting cures the disease of the body and it purifies the digestive system also. It also corrects you at every aspect of life and contributes to self-discipline and dedication. It is a kind of training given to the body and mind to withstand all hardships and makes an individual strong enough to persist under extreme difficulties.

Source of entry and exit is the same
Once a monk entered a small village. A little boy was carrying a lit lamp, obviously going to the small temple of the town to put the lamp there for the night.
And the monk asked, "Can you tell me from where the light comes?"
"You have lit the lamp yourself so you must have seen. What is the source of light?"
The boy laughed and he said, "Wait!" And he blew out the lamp in front of Junaid. And he said, "You have seen the light go. Can you tell me where it has gone?"
"If you can tell me where it has gone, I will tell you from where it has come because it has gone to the same place. It has returned to the source".
The monk said, "I'd met great philosophers but nobody had made such a beautiful statement : It has gone to its very source. Everything returns to its source finally. Moreover, the child made me aware of my ignorance".
