Power can change hands!

What's Happening?

From Maharashtra, we have been getting continuous news coverage about the manner in which the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), especially Samir Wankhede, the leader of the team investigating the Aryan Khan drug abuse case is going about his work systematically, sending shock waves on the drug cartel and the Hindi film industry.

And tainted politicians have already jumped into the bandwagon to badmouth the professionally impeccable Investigating Officer and have come out with the latest charge of him being an extortionist! What are these scumbags up to? I've a few questions in this regard :-

   (a) Why are the politicians sucking up to Shah Rukh Khan?
   (b) Why are they making a case to treat the star kid with kid gloves?
   (c) Has Samir Wankhede gone to Delhi because of the state police's moves to arrest him on some
         trumped up charges?
   (d) Sharad Pawar's NCP has been the most vociferous in the anti-Wankhede moves. The Shiv Sena
and the Congress have been silently complicit. (One doesn't have to look far; those three had put
Republic TV's Arnab Goswami in jail - albeit, for a few days till the Supreme Court intervened
and set the journalist free, in the recent past).

In this country, we go gaga over film stars and cricket players. Those guys are thoroughly spoilt and one has to just see the tantrums that they throw if an ordinary citizen goes near them forgetting completely that it's his/her support that has placed them on that exalted pedestal!

And the scumbags have not spared Wankhede's near and dear ones too! What they don't realise is that they can lose power in the not too distant future!!

India Bites Dust in T20 Match

Though there are many more games to go in the T20 World Cup matches and eventually, India might lift the Cup too, perhaps. And let's not forget that in any game there are victors and losers. Yesterday, the Indian team just went down to Pakistan without giving a fight leaving every Indian sad.

But I've seen this time and again. Why do we suffer loss of confidence while playing against Pakistan?

Tailpiece.

Got up at 6, the chores and was ready by a half past 9.

Finished a few pending jobs. Another quiet day, otherwise!
