The heat, here, is manageable!

Got up around a half past 1 to reduce water levels and since sleep was hard to come by, recited my prayers. Turned off to sleep yet again.

Was up at 5, sent all the messages, opened up the house for the day, lit up the puja room lamp and switched on the hymns on the television.

Morning cuppa with Lekha. 

Bath followed by breakfast of idiyappams and potato stew. 

Left for Sarathy Auto Cars at Kottarakkara regarding the exchange of our cars. The chevy was inspected and taken for a test drive by them. Vishnu, Unni, Santosh and Geoffrey looked after us and we were given black tea/coffee for Lekha. We've zeroed in our new car - a Maruti Vottoris.

Returned home by a half past 11. Lunch was given, free, by Thulasi of Murukaalaya - damn sweet of him! The food was tasty and was being provided to visitors at Kottarakkara on the occasion of the Maha Ganapati kshetram's ulsavam.

A leisurely lunch followed by siesta.

Lekha got up by a half past 4, washed up and left for the Kottarakkara Maha Ganapati kshetram's "kettukaazhcha" on the occasion of the last day of the ulsavam. 

She returned by 2000 hrs.

A quiet evening of packing and securing for an early morning getaway tomorrow.
