Indira kunjamma in hospital.

We'd got things readied for my course mate, Nanda Kumar Parrat's visit this evening. I was having my siesta when my cousin, Lekshmi had called up.

What she gave me wasn't good news. Indira kunjamma - all of 82 years - had suffered two strokes, one after the other, was in deep coma and admitted at the KIMS Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram. Since the left part of her brain was bulging out due to a pressure-build-up, she had to undergo two surgeries in the skull

Indira kunjamma was preparing herself and looking forward to attend her granddaughter, Manikkutty's wedding on the 25th, at Guruvayur.

All those things will have to wait.....at least for the time being.

After the two surgeries, she has been buttoned up to a ventilator.

God, please take care of my kunjamma and give her a long life!
