The traffic was comparatively sparse being a Sunday and we could do whatever we wanted to do. The first stop was at the Ananda Bhavan at Chalakkudi and we settled down for a combo shared between the two of us along with filter coffee.
Ernakulam and Alappuzha whizzed past at the appointed times and we turned off for Adoor on the KP Road at Kayamkulam. By 1, we had reached Hotel Diana - at the tip of the Adoor bypass - and the young lady, Renjoo was damn sad at my intake. Damn sweet of her. Had to tell her that I usually ate only the amount that she'd given me.
The guy at the parking had an unusual name - Kartoos - wonder whether he was fibbing. He was yet another guy from Assam, a Rohingya? A well behaved guy, but!
Lekha had picked up fruits from the More outlet on our way to Raj Nivas where we reached by a half past 1. The house looked neat and clean. We quickly changed and hit the sack as both of us were feeling very tired. After a good two hours' rest, the evening cuppa, I'd spent time at my parents' resting place and informed them about our program.
A quiet and restful evening, thereafter.
