Lekha's cellphone alarm went off at 4 and for us, the day had begun. The early morning cuppa tea, the chores and the rounding off of the remaining packing were done in quick succession without disturbing Anil and Radha. Were ready by a quarter past 6 and then, interacted with them.
Selvam and his car were already there. An extremely resourceful boy who remained cheerful at all times and had a positive outlook towards life, in general.
The traffic from Resovilla to Santa Cruz looked sparse and we'd reached there by a half past 9. Couldn't ensure a wheel chair for Lekha and consequently, she'd to walk quite a lot - especially from Gate 52 to 41B. I'd my way at the check-in counter by booking the three pieces of luggage but the guy, Tahir ensured that I paid extra. And I was sure that the total weight of my baggage was < 30 kg. Anyways, didn't wait for the wheel chair that took an awfully long time.
The departure from Bombay was delayed by a good 45 minutes. Had in-flight lunch of Dal Chawal and noodles. Landed at Kochi at a half past 2.
Sajeesh was there and soon after, we were headed for Guruvayur.
From Angamali the traffic was smooth flowing.
Reached home by a quarter past 5. The opening up of the house, giving food for Kittu, Chacki, rewinding the grandmother clock to keep it going.
A quiet day, at long last.
