Alas there was a snag! The tickets were not on my fingertips, the security gal did not allow us to get in and so, had to go across to the Indigo counter to collect a hard copy. Then entered the terminal, stood a long queue, got Lekha a wheel chair assistance and we boarded the flight, which took off at 0545 hrs.
Chaudhari, our chauffeur whom Anil had sent, was at the airport. We were handed over to him by Rajeev, the wheel chair man. Headed straight for my course and Squadron mate, Col KC Murthy and his wife, Vijaya who gave us an excellent breakfast. Earlier, we'd purposely overshot their flat to facilitate buying of fruits from the Dadar market!
Met their daughter, Rittika and her husband, Sripad and spoke to her for about 10 minutes. Their son, Shaurya, is an absolute delight.
We, then, buzzed off to Kandivali. Anil and Radha took us from Kandivali to Resovilla.
A quiet siesta and the way ahead was thought upon.
