Got up at a quarter to 5, the chores. Sending mail to close-knit team. Lit the lamp, put on the music and opened up the house.
Murali, the electrician was the first visitor, who had dropped by to clear the house's power line. The problem was licked soon.
We left for Anand's house by about a quarter to 11 and reached the house at Kottaathala by about a quarter to 12. The last set of our 'onakkodi' gifts was handed over to them. Anand's shirt needs a change!
A scrumptious lunch! The conversation flowed before and after the food. The mother-in-law (Letha) and daughter-in-law (Archa) had outdone themselves and produced an excellent spread on the table! Little Devootti was as talkative as ever though she, still, seemed to be scared of yours truly.
A short siesta and left the house (Karthika) by about a quarter past 4. Stopped enroute at the supermarket, More and Central Bazar, adjacent to it for sundry purchases. Got my Gillette Mach3 blade cartridge, at last! Phew!! But what a downpour?!
The 'Uthraadappachil'' of the general public in Kottarakkara town wasn't that overwhelming to throw the traffic out of gear and I could navigate our Chevy without any problem though I had to take the most busy thoroughfare, through Chandamukku!
Reached Raj Nivas by about 5 PM.
Settled down in the house and went about our evening chores.
