Over the last few weeks one has been hearing a lot of good things happening, concerning our country which are :-
* Over 93.2 crore Indians have been administered the Covid-19 vaccines and the country is slowly inching towards complete vaccination by end 2021, the target set by the Modi government.
* Vaccinations, manufactured in India, will be exported to other countries from next month.
* Prime Minister Modi had established his position among the world leaders, was able to put across
his government's views on terrorism and the uncompromising stand on Afghanistan's new regime.
* Air India was disinvested and that, too, its new owners are the Tatas. Other disinvestments are being
done as per plan.
* Chinese military postures on the LAC were being effectively neutralised by the Indian Army's countermoves.
* The farmer's agitation has turned out to be a damp squib because the few misguided ones are being propped up by the Khalistani elements and their perfidy is out in the open.
* Kashmir has been getting to normalcy with tourism picking up, developmental activities picking up and trade has been thriving.
India has begun showing her assertiveness in every field and the first point is that the spread of Covid-19 has been effectively contained and the country's health system seems to have learnt valuable lessons from the last two waves of the illness and is braced up to take on the next wave!
Now, these things, definitely bring down the general morale of our enemies like Pakistan and China.
But there are the fifth columnists within and many other people, across the political divide to create anarchy within the country and cause confusion and the trends are visible.
Let's now list down a few of the negative happenings that have propped up :-
* A fear psychosis is being whipped up by non-BJP state governments regarding power shortage due to supposedly, a shortage of coal which the concerned union minister has stoutly refused. (The shortage is perhaps being bandied about because China faces a severe power crunch!). The opposition ruled states have already imposed power cuts without consulting with the union government!
* Shenanigans by the Chinese troops on eastern Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh which, of course, has been tackled by the Indian Army effectively.
* Targeted killing of Hindus and Sikhs in Kashmir have been on the rise. There has been this guy, Soz, who has advised the Modi government to talk to the terrorists!
* The Lakhimpur Kheri case that would have flared up with fake news, putting blame on others, opposition leaders scampering in with crocodile tears and unnecessary publicity.
In view of the above, don't you feel that divisive forces are at work with the singular aim of showing Modi in bad light?
May god be with him and the people of this country so that no harm befalls the country. I'm sure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come out with flying colours eventually!

Got up at 20' past 6, the chores and was ready by 10. Topped up our Chevy and checked tyre pressure for our journey to Kochi to remove Lekha's sutures.
Worked on my IPKF memoirs. Much more needs to be done.
Washed down the Chevy and Lekha, too, helped me in the serial.
Saw the movie, "Bhramam" on Amazon. Watchable! Mamatha Mohandas is good, Leela is nice!!
