Heartening news!

A couple of good news that have nailed the lies and negative publicity when the reported stories were hot! It's quite heartening because ultimately, "the truth will out!!" The cynics and the 'negative publicitywalas' have suddenly gone underground!!!

1. Covaxin Cleared for Children from 2 to 18 yrs.

The Covaxin vaccination has now been cleared for administration on children between the ages of 2 and 18 yrs. A vaccine manufactured in India has been able to compete with its 'contemporaries from abroad' and is now cleared for use. The initial set of cynics and naysayers like Akhilesh Kumar Yadav, Rahul Gandhi and Mamta Banerjee were the first to say that they wouldn't take the vaccination - for no rhyme or reason and called it a BJP vaccine that needed to be boycotted! The initial scare against the vaccination was yet another ploy by the 'responsible' opposition to neutralise the government's efforts in this regard! That the people of India gave it scant regard and flocked to get vaccinated was another matter altogether. All these guys were rooting for foreign vaccines thereby, demoralising the Indian efforts and stoutly refusing to stand by the truth.

Rightfully, they must apologise to the Serum Institute of India and also to the people of India! The police must identify them with the proof of their perfidy and nab the culprits without losing any time.

2. Imran Khan Admits that India had destroyed Balakot!

After the opposition requirement of being provided with the proof about the Balakot strikes was refused by the government, today the acceptance of the Balakot strikes has come from the proverbial horse's mouth - Imran Khan, the Pakistani PM! Now, what does the Opposition have to say to this, I wonder.

They must apologise to the IAF and the people of India for wagging their loose tongues against the country!

Tailpiece.

Kicked off from Chittamma's house by a quarter to 8, reached Mallan's Clinic by a 20' past 9. Lekha's sutures were removed and she was told as to how she should maintain her dentures. We left on our return trip and picked up pastries and snack from the Pandhal Bakery at Panampilly Nagar, enroute, for the children. After a quick lunch, we left for Guruvayur by about a quarter past1. Thankfully, the rain had taken a break then.

We reached Guruvayur by a half past 4, picked up sundries from the National Supermarket. Heavy waterlogging in front of the Mammiyoor Siva Kshetram required us to take a detour via the Rajah Hospital. Settled down after opening up the house.
