Famous foods of India (9).

Our exquisite journey continues and what a treat it has been thus far! So, let's resume and enjoy every minute of this pleasant transit.

24. Telangana

Since the state has been carved out of Andhra Pradesh, the foods mentioned there hold good in this case too. And repeating an earlier statement, the Andhra cuisine is a mix of Telangana Cuisine, Rayalaseema Cuisine and Coastal Andhra Cuisine.

25. Tripura

Tripura's food includes dishes made of rice, pulses, vegetables, meat, chutney and local herbs. Most of the people are non-vegetarians. Fish is the main food and they use fermented fish in their cuisine which is known as "Berma". One of the most popular traditional food of the state is "Moi Borok". Pork, beef, bamboo shoots are very common and the local food is mostly prepared without oil.

It's a hilly state, surrounded by Assam, Meghalaya and Bangladesh. There's the influence of the cuisines of the immediate neighbourhood. Apong and Chuak are the famous beverages of the state.

Got up a trifle late, the chores and was ready by 10.

Roy's assistants - Geeverghese and Rijo - came and rectified two plumbing and two electrical defects. Gireesh, the electrician set the ball rolling for repairing the geyser under the warranty period.

Had a long chat with Gavvy, a youngster that I'm fond of.
