Lekha’s cellphone had woken us up at a half past 3. Went about our chores without disturbing Padmakumar and Rema. We were ready and kicked off from Siddhi Kedar by a 10’ past 6 and were at Babu Sahadev and Suma’s place by 20’ to 7.
We were at the Malliyoor Ganapati kshetram by a quarter past 8, had a good darshan and proceeded to Thiruvaarpu Krishnan’s temple by a quarter to 10. Had a good darshan and proceeded for breakfast at a Farm Fed stall, whose proprietor, Biju befriended us. The temples were listed out by Suma which was good!
Had lunch at Nilamel. The drive to Poovar was nice without hassles. Had tea and snacks by the wayside. Made a wrong turn off Kovalam and overshot. Had to correct it and we reached the resort by a quarter past 5. Quickly went through the registration formalities, parked our Chevy and unpacked in cabin 19 allotted to us.
Completed the washing of soiled clothes. Joined the crowd for the evening function and it was a great occasion to interact with my classmates and their wives.
