Leg 1 of the trip.

It was a fine day, we went through our chores and was ready by a quarter to 10. After a light breakfast we’d begun our packing and could finish it by 12. Rahul, the newspaper agent came at the right time to collect his dues from us. Told him about our impending trip and to keep the newspapers with him.

Sajish came promptly by 2, we set off for Flora, our shelter for the evening. In between, Maman had sent me the preface to Muthachhan’s biography. Corrected the draft and sent it back to Shekhar.

Settled down at 105, Flora for the evening. Had fruits brought by Lekha. Watched television and had a comparatively early dinner.

Tomorrow is gonna be a long day.
