Had got up at 5, the chores and we were ready by a quarter past 8. We set off soon after for Tvpm. The traffic was heavy and we got caught at Kottarakkara, Vamanapuram, Kazhakkoottam and at Pattoor traffic snarls and reached the Foundation to be in time for the Aazhchakkoottam that began at 1200 hrs.
Shashi Bhushan, son of Prof Guptan Nair, a student and researcher on the onam festival was the speaker who delivered an immaculate lecture!
This was followed by lunch - an excellent one at that!
It was followed by a group photograph of the entire family.
A day, well spent. Was back at Raj Nivas by a 35' past 8.

Was caught with the Chevy's diesel tank ending up fully dry! Local guys, headed by Satish Vembayam and friends, helped me out from the emergency. Damn sweet of them!
