Got up at 4, thanks to Lekha's cellphone alarm, went through the chores but was ready by a quarter past 7. We kicked off for Raj Nivas at 0658 hrs! The journey was smooth all through though traffic was heavy at certain stretches. Our breakfast was at the Saravana Bhavan at Paliyekkara by a quarter past 8.
Reached Edappalli three hours after starting the journey. We took a rest-room-break at the HP outlet at Aroor. Ambalapuzha was mad, thanks to heavy traffic. Had our lunch at the Kalapakavadi Inn.
After reaching Kottarakkara, went to the Star Dish guy to recharge our Airtel Dish Tv but Lalu was obnoxious! Achu had helped us to recharge the same online. Phew!!
Reached Raj Nivas by about 3PM.
Meanwhile, had called up Mohan of the Boss workshop and he had sent Monish to collect our Chevy by about 8, in the evening. He has promised to return the vehicle - after repairs - on Sunday morning.
Earlier, Lekha had prepared tea for us, thereby starting up the kitchen for Onam 23.
And again, it was a simple and lovely dinner for the evening.
