The Pulwama attack occurred when a convoy of vehicles carrying Indian security personnel on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was confronted by a vehicle-borne suicide bomber at Lethapora in the Pulwama district of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Mastermind was Mohammad Ismail Alvi aka Saifullah, Adnan or Lamboo.
The aftermath
The tit for tat was the surgical strike by the IAF at Balakote, deep in Pakistani territory. And the heartless opposition wanted proof!
