Can frauds take place through FASTag?

A few days back there was a video clip in circulation showing how frauds were happening through one's FASTag chip installed on vehicles. Is it possible? Here, it is. It's not possible at all! Why? 

FASTag, incidentally, is a Radio Frequency Identification - RFID device.

1. Each toll plaza has been allocated unique code.

2. Each toll plaza has mapper acquirer Bank.

3. Both the combinations are mapped at NETC National Electronic Toll Collection) system.

4. Geo codes are mapped for each toll plaza.

Now for any transaction to be processed, there is the need of toll plaza ID (generated and known to SI, acquirer Bank and NPCI - National Payments Corporation of India).

NPCI is connected with member banks through NPCI net connectivity and under no circumstance, transactions will come over the open internet.

IP are whitelisted by banks as well as SI and NPCI.

Got up at 6, the chores and was ready well in time. Syamala, the caretaker's wife brought me tea and breakfast subsequently as he'd gone for rubber tapping. Set off for the St Stephen's Boys' HSS, Mount Tabor for my first PN Panicker Memorial Lecture from 1030 to 1230 hrs. 

Returned home for an hour and then went for the second session to the Government Girls' Primary School, Kundayam.

The feedback from the schools has been good. 

The caretaker came for interaction along with my dinner.
