The day started at 5, as we got up and went through our chores. Was ready much before 8 but the sailors manning the office were late and I got the receipt for my payment comparatively late. The main gate was allowing only incoming vehicles and I was diverted to come out through the underpass - was travelling through that route for the first time!
We were off to Mallan's clinic by a quarter past 8 and reached there by a half past 9. The stitches on Lekha's upper palate were removed and we could set our course for home, by 1030 hrs after a snack and coffee.
Reached The Quarterdeck by a quarter past 3. Lekha was forced to rest as she was feeling tired.
Opened up the house and we were on time to get the house ready.
It was a quiet day, otherwise!
