Sangeeta Phogat who is the wife of Bajrang Punia has put out an instagram post threatening that they will crush Modi and ranting about Jatt supremacy.
If you see closely, the protest is spearheaded by the husband-wife duo of Bajrang Punia and Sangeeta Phogat and her sister Vinesh Phogat, accompanied by Sakshi Malik.
Even Geeta and Babita Phogat have kept themselves aloof from this protest.
Babita Phogat has, in fact, openly opposed the politicisation of the protest through her tweets and also asked some tough questions of Priyanka Vadra.
The real issue seems to be that the protesting wrestlers don't want to compete in the national events but want direct access to Olympics and international events.
Vinesh Phogat has openly said on camera that they want to go directly to Olympics, without competing in national events. Towards this end, they want Brij Bhushan to be replaced with a Jatt president.
Now, I'm seeing the situation is having a potential Shaheen Bagh or farmer protest style toolkit.
