Reached Cape Town a trifle after 1 in the afternoon. A lovely lunch of pasta and pizza before we settled for the day at the Park Inn of Radisson on the waterfront of the grand city.
Earlier, we'd landed at Johannesburg around 10 AM local time and from there we had boarded the domestic carrier, South African Air (SAFAIR) for Cape Town. There was quite a bit of harassment on the part of the airline staff - of over reading weighing machines! - but we could handle them with ease.
Reached Cape Town by lunch time - a beautiful township! We mingled with the other members of the group and became friendly.
A quiet evening at our hotel, thereafter.
