China does it again and India gives it back!

India has put on hold the departure of three Indian players who were scheduled to fly to Chengdu to take part in the World University Games.

India lashed out at China for issuing 'stapled visas' to three Indian Wushu players from Arunachal Pradesh and said there should be no discrimination for people based on their ethnicity. China does this to show that Arunachal Pradesh is their territory.

"Our stated position on this count - long standing and consistent - is that there should be no differential statements based on domicile or ethnicity  for Indian citizens with valid passports". 

"It has come to our notice that stapled visas were issued to some of our citizens of the sporting community travelling to China. This is unacceptable".

My take

I like the way India has retaliated. I'm sure China will correct itself and allow the sportspersons to participate. It had better, it loses either ways - see how that wretched country has landed itself in, on its own making! Any which way it takes action, it loses!
