The new Parliament building.

We are witness to yet another national event, the inauguration of the new Parliament. It's a historic moment. The respect to 'Kala' is considered supreme in Indian philosophy from ancient times.

Sunday or Ravivara is ruled by Sun or aptly said Suryadeva, the epitome of Dharma and its preserver. It watches all karma of all jeeva atmas or jada atmas. It legislates and governs the cosmic and provides for each being ever created in the universe. The day on 15 Aug 1947 was Friday as per the English calendar but the vara as per Hindu vedic system was Thursday. Sunday is the correct and rightful choice.

This will ensure the supremacy of Legislature which is the core fundamental of a democracy.

The vedic system uses the energy of Sun and thus sunrise is the starting point of any day. Each new day is considered a new beginning or a new srishti with the midnight as the end of the same. While noon or midheaven is considered the peak of the day. So no wonder the timeline for events, chosen are 7.15 AM in the morning to begin with and 12 noon, the National Anthem.

The building is Vastu compliant. This is a great way to optimise blessings of cosmic energies for the welfare of the nation.

The boycott by the opposition parties is a great cosmic blessing in disguise. The cosmic forces probably didn't want negative energies to be there in the Parliament at least today. When kala is respected well it will ensure dharma prevails.

And yes, that's the change we shall witness. Welcome to the Amritkaal of India. The new beginning.

God bless India and welcome to a new beginning.

My take

A very auspicious occasion, indeed!

Tailpiece.

Got up at 6, the chores and was ready by a half past 9.

A leisurely Sunday.
