Another perspective on the passing days..

1. Everything is not locked down

Everything is not locked down
Sunrise is not locked down
Love is not locked down
Kindness is not locked down
Creativity is not locked down
Learning is not locked down
Conversation is not locked down
Imagining is not locked down
Reading is not locked down
Relationship is not locked down
Praying is not locked down
Hope is not locked down
Everything is not locked down

2. A famous quote

"Never get worried
This too will pass".

Another one from Shakespeare's King Lear,

"To thine own self be true; and this
too shall pass as the night, the day".

And in Hindi, from Amar Prem,

"Kuchh reet jagat ki aisi hai, har ek
subah ki shaam hui".

3. Replicating life on LoC

    (a) My countrymen the lock down that so bothers you, a soldier on the LoC experiences day in and
day out. He does not have the luxury of a Tatasky, an attached bath or even a bed. Yet he is in
quarantine. You have the luxury of disobeying the lock down, the soldier does not. Your worry
is the virus, his a sniper bullet. You may survive the virus, his chances are very low, should he
expose himself. What you're experiencing is a version of the life on LoC.

    (b) If the soldier can do it day in and day out without even basic amenities, surely so can you with
all attached luxuries at your disposal. For the sake of the soldier that guards you, do a bit for his
         family, by staying indoors.

    (c) Stay safe and let others be safe. Your quarantine is temporary, not the bullet on the LoC. Think
of the soldier and please stay indoors. This, too, shall pass (TTSP).

Tailpiece.

Got up at our usual time, the chores and was ready well in time. Suma, had come at her usual time, around a quarter to 8.

It was another quiet day. Went out around sunset time to the ATM nearby. The highway was empty, there was neither any vehicle nor another human being......it was eerie!
